What sort of router do you have? Have you tried powering the router down and back up. Do you have all 4 computers wired into the router? Have all the computers lost their internet connection?

Unless you made some setting changes, I do not see how removing a wire then replacing it would cause you to lose connection unless you damaged the wire or possibly the card came loose. I would suggest opening the case and make sure the network card is plugged in properly and/or try a different cable.

alright i will try checking the card and wire. This happened before i think, i tried powering down the router and then back up. All four comps are on the same router, this is the only one w/o internet at this point. Its a Linxus router. No setting changes made. I will go try to see if something is loose right now.

Do you use a static ip or is it setup to obtain ip auto? If its set to obtian ip auto you may want to try and do an ip release and renew from a command promt.
