I am running Windows XP Home Edition on my home Desktop and my personal Laptop. I would like to setup a remote desktop client. This feature does not come with Home Edition.

Can anyone tell me if there is another way to setup this service without the purchase of XP Prof?

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look into these...

However, I just need to access my Desktop over the LAN using my laptop.

Are you trying to run programs on your desktop or access files?
