I want to make me a costum dns email adress, is this possible ?

I tryed making my dns domain linked to gmails.com smtp, pop but can't send anything.

ex: user@dns-to-mymail.com

what do you mean by link? do you what to pick up your domain email at gmail? If so, just set it up in gmail or do you want to pickup your gmail at your domain? Exactly what are you trying to do when you say link?
