Do you have the drivers disc (probably a floppy) for those, if so put that disc in and refresh them.

Hi IneedHelpBad

If no one answers your posts by email or PM it's because,
if someone's answer helps to fix your problem, it may also help
someone else who has the same problem that reads the posts.

Now back to your problems.
Lets start with the Display problem.

Right click My Computer/ Properties/ Device Manager tab.
Click the + beside Display Adapters.
Does it show the name of of your Video Card?

Go to THIS SITE and download this program called Belarc Advisor and install it using RUN or double click on it where ever you saved it. It will automatically generate a Report of what it thinks is in your system and you can use the output of this to talk more intelligently about your system. Without details we cannot help you find any of your drivers and it appears that you need most of them.

Let us know when you've done this and then we can start to ask some pertinent questions. The first thing I would like to know is the Manufacturer's name of your BIOS and it's serial number.

I have searched the Gateway site and can't find anything
that matches the info supplied by Belarc Advisor.

Look on the front or back of the computer for the
Gateway model number, we might be able find the video
driver by that.

Go to this AMI SITE and download and run this motherboard ID utility which is supposed to tell you the manufacturer of your MB. This will give us the information as to where to start to search for it's drivers.

Please Post the results from this.

Do you have any documentation that came with your computer?

And by the way that was BELARC not a BERLIC THING. If I'm helping, I don't appreciate off-hand comments.
