Hi Scottrn, I've never heard of the program and neither have my installations of W9x & Me. Have you performed a search to determine which Folder it's in? That should give you a big clue if it's a part of some installed program folder.

rnathchk.exe is a background process used by RealOne Player to provide "helpful" notifications. To remove the annoying Real Messenger from running, open the RealOne
Player's Tools | Preferences dialog, and under "Automatic Services" uncheck "Periodically check for new messages".

yeah, if you ever want to have problems with your computer so you can have something to do just download and install RealPlayer. Works every time..

I don't know what it is about RealPlayer anymore. It used to work really good with Windows, but in the last year or so they changed it so it would conflict strongly with Windows. Me thinks the owner of Real has a personal grudge against BG.

Love popups? Go to Real.com to get all you want.

I really don't like speaking ill of software, but in this case I must because realplayer will not operate on my win98 computer. It conflicts with everything. I know people who love it and never have problems from it but I'm not one of them. Oh well.
