Thank you and yes I have done all you suggested, it seems fine today. I just installed Nortons 2003 version so I know I am virus free.

Thank you again!

Do you see the little computers by the clock on your start menu. Right click on that dissconnect and then X out of the browser, see what happenes.

you said

IF I click on that it brings up a box that asks me what I want my computer to do and I don't want to shut down I just want to log off and get to my desktop, also if I click on the little computer that box prevents me from Xing out. I hope that makes sense. and thanks.

How much RAM do you have in your computer, and how many programs do you have running?

you will need to Add some more RAM. 64 MB is too little now. 256 is best.

Hi Perplexed,

I'd like to see what you have running at start please. Would you download and run this program? It is called Startuplist. then copy and paste the results into a post here. They will be rather lengthy. You may have to split the results between two posts.

StartupList (http://www.spywareinfo.com/files/startuplist.zip)

And there's always the possibility of installing CS on top of itself.
