OK HERE GOES NOTHING........i have a system that originally had win xp on it ,and after a few years i wanted to try linux. i have a version of linux ,fedora core nd it had the grub boot loader on the disk, after some finessing of the hard drive space and allocating the proper space for the grub boot loader at the begining of the MBR ,all was well and runs great ,the problem is now that ive aquired a really killer system and have fedora core on it now ,i have no need for the dual boot on the old system ,and actuall I am in need of the 40 odd gigs of hs space it has had allocated to it ,so i can add more stuff on xp.....Is there a safe and effective way to remove fedora core and grub boot loader so as to aquire a system with only XP on it ,and free up all that space. oh BTW, i have forgotten the linux password i used to open fedora core, theres gotta be an easy way to circumvent the password on the boot but im unaware of it....thanks again AXXE.
