Hello!
Hi all! Great site, only wish I would have found it sooner!
I do have a recent problem I need some help with. Here are the details: I received a new game for Christmas in DVD format. For some reason my computer would not play it. I put a DVD movie in that I had played before and it would not work either. I thought that strange and asked an "expert" what to do. He said it was probably the driver (they don't require drivers) or possibly a bad drive. So, I figured for $50 I would buy a new DVD drive and see if that was it. It was not. I reloaded Windows 2000 and tried the movie again and it worked! Great problem solved.....or so I thought. I put the game back in and installed it. It pulls up the initial screen and when I hit "Play" I get the following error: Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point GetRawInputDeviceList could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll To add to the problem I then tried some of my other games and got a similar error, but referencing a different .dll file. So now I can watch DVD's, but can't play any of my games. Arrgh!! Sorry to be so long winded in my first post. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Whenever you reinstall your OS always remember to do all of the updates again. This is VERY important these days!
