Angry tweakui
I WANT TO INSTALL TWEAKUI. I DO FINE BUT WHEN ASKED TO INSTALL TO THE CONTROL PANEL I'M THEN ASKED TO INSTALL A DISC. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANYONES HELP. THANKS PHIL

It is probably asking for your Windows 98 CD. Try installing tweakui and when it asks for the disk, place your 98 CD in your cd drive and when you hear it spin up click OK or place your cd in the drive before you try to install tweakui and when it asks for the disk click OK.

If you're a user of Windows 98 SE, TweakUI is not on the CD.
...go to the folder you downloaded the TweakUI file to. In the case of TweakUI it is a self extracting zip file so once you click on it it will ask you were you wish to extract this file to. Create a temporary folder in your C drive. You can call it "tweakui." ..Then run the tweakui.exe file and tell it to extract the files to the folder you made.
...once you have extracted it to that folder you can browse to it using Windows Explorer or My Computer then find the tweakui.inf file of the 4 files in that folder. Right click on that file and select the install option show on that option menu. This will install TweakUI on your system.
...you will find a new icon in the control panel on your system titled TweakUI .

Hi pjskal Welcome to CTH

If it is asking for your 98 CD, you might be clicking the wrong icon
to start the installation.
