Quick Restore Disks?

The user accounts won't load on my laptop and I was wondering if the quick restore disks will still work. Also anyone who has any solutions to my user account problem it will be a great help. I have a Compaq presario 2100US. Any help is greatly appreciated.

what are the quick restore disks, cd's ? if so then they should be ok but if you have a floppy and recovey partiton it should be ok too providing you have not formatted the drive.
