I'm having a terrible problem. I've been fighting with this for days and I admit defeat. I cannot figure this out.
I have a Windows 2003 server which is a domain server. There are shared folders on there and everyone that logs in has their own folder (space) under the shared folders. The problem is, they are able to see the contents of their folders, but they cannot write to their folders at all. Each user has full rights to their own folder.
I have noticed on the properties of the shared folder, the Read-only attribute is checked, but the check is grey. I can uncheck it, but as soon as I save it and go back into the properties of the folder, the check is back. But, I am not so sure that is the problem. I can write to my folder alright, but I have admin rights.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
