Question Handling ".SAM" file types

I use Windows 98(1st Ed.)
I have a text document with the file extention of ".sam", it was created by the Lotus Amipro word processor years ago. I no longer have that program that created it, I cannot print it, it is currently been set to open with the Quickview program which does let me print the file.

How can I print the file?

Should I convert the file to another format to get it to print and if so how do I convert it ?

Thanks,
Al

Hi melillo3...how big is that file? If under 50K, you could try NotePad. Highlight the SAM file with a single click, then right-click on it while holding down the Shift key. Use the "Open with" menu option to select NotePad. If the file size is > than 50K, try changing the file association to Word (DOC format) using the same method.

If neither works, there's always the 30-day trial version of Quick View 7.0. However, you may consider a 12MB download more trouble than it's worth.
