stack overflow

i had a problem .... i can't go into my window .
there is a message "stack overflow , sytem halted , check config.sys" .
anyone know what problem is ? what cause it ? and how to fix it ?

First boot to dos. Now at the c: prompt type ren config.sys config.sav in that order after I said type. Now do same with autoexec.bat.
At c: prompt type ren autoexec.bat autoexec.sav
Now reboot and see what, if any, errors.

if any error messages in window , in web site microsoft does have everything explanation of it ? i just know that in web site microsoft have explanation of stack overflow .
