Fetch E-mail IDs from Out look express 5

Hi all,

I would like to know how fetch E-mail IDs from following path C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\{155F24C0-5DBC-11D6-90CE-0050FC40726F}\Microsoft\Outlook Express.
I need code in Visual Basic/ASP.
File format DBX. Any suggestions/help most welcome.

Hello Shaiju, welcome to CTH forums.

I have done a little housekeeping and moved your 3 topics form Win95, Win98 and WinNT/2000 here to the Applications forum where they are better suited.

I'm not really sure what it is you are trying to do here.
the .dbx files are OE specific and while they do contain some plain text information, programatically extracting this may be very difficult. Ceratainly beyond anything I would expect a free support site to do.

Note that the Information store folder changes on each OE identity/install and is in a completely different location in Win2000 (e.g.
G:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{Unique Identity string}\Microsoft\Outlook Express)
