Customer Record Template In Excel
I am looking for a template which will allow me to create a customer record form in Excel (name, address, telephone #, balance owed, comments, etc.). I want to link various cells in this record to cells in a statement form which I created. I do not have MS Access or any other database program on this computer. Any suggestions?

Hi Corndale.
I don't know of any templates but I have made similar to this many times using VBa. Excel can be made to act like a simple database program but it takes a fair bit of code to do so properly. Got a couple of Questions for you about what you are wanting though... 1) What Excel version. 2) Are you intending to have the Excel workbook keep a database of all entries or is this just to simplify data entry for your statement form which I assume gets printed out?

corndale, sorry for the delay here. I thought I still had an example/tutorial on creating a VBa userform for someone but can't find it.
Give me another couple of days and I'll write one up and upload it to my webspace for you to have a look at. Will be Excel2000 but AFAIK it's the same in XP.
