How do I remove one of my hard drives?
I recently had to replace my hard drive but kept the original one in order to save information on it ,it is used as a slave (H drive)It contains some files I can,t get rid of and am wondering if it's straightforward to just dissconnect the H drive(the original)n as I've taken off all the information I needed from it.

all you have to do is to disconnect, however, I would suggest reformatting it and use it as a storage drive.

not knowing what operating system, try this, go to your command prompt and type format h: enter make sure the h or whatever letter your spare drive is or there could be problems.
To answer your question, you can delete the files but you have hidden stuff that needs to be removed.
