Hi Paul, sorry for the lack of replies.

Have a couple of questions that may put us on the right path...
1) Does it happen with all DVDs? What type of DVD? Commercial movies, burned Data? Any difference between Copy-protected commercially pressed and non copy-protected?
2) What software normally plays DVDs when they are inserted?
3) What if you insert a CD?

Thanks
For answering.I found the cause to be Nero7 INCD.When I uninstalled the INCD part of the new Nero it suddenly started working.Hmmm I don't understand what the problem was but I can at least play my DVD's.INCD os still not bug free.
