Processor Temp

I got a computer with a pentium 2 and I thought that it was running a little hot so I went to town and got a inside outside thermometer and then took out the heat sink and then glued the temp probe for the outside to the center of the heat sink right over the processor to see how hot it was running? Then I just ran the cord out of a hole in the chassis to the unit. It was running alot cloorer then I thought and as far as I know it is fairly acurate. If you have any questions about it I will moe thatn happy to answer them.
