Squirrel Soup
No Ingredient Listing

Throw the squirrel's body on hot coals to singe off all the fur. Skin the body, cut off the feet and head, clean the inside and wash the body well. Let the body soak overnight in water to cover, to which 1/2 tsp. salt has been added. Boil about 10 minutes, then discard this water. Boil in fresh water about 2 hours or until done, and cool. Bone, and cut up the meat into small pieces, saving the broth. Cut up one small onion and 1 large or 2 small potatoes and add to the broth, Return the meat to the broth also and cook until vegetables are done. Season to taste. This is an old-time recipe. In today's cooking, one may add whatever vegetable you wish to the soup.

Think ill stick with egg and chips:D

Barbecued Squirrel
No Ingredient Listing

Put some slices of fat bacon in an oven. Lay the squirrels on top of them and lay two slices of bacon on the top. Put them in the oven and let them cook until done. (sorry, no time or temperature specified) Lay them on a dish and set near the fire. Take out the bacon, sprinkle one spoonful of flour in the gravy and let it brown. Then pour in one teacup of water, one tablespoonful of butter and put some tomato or walnut catsup. Let it cool, then pour it over the squirrel. (from Housekeeping in Old Virginia, 1879)

Just throw another squirrel on the barbeque Ned Seagoon

Still tastes like chicken. And chicks are a lot easier to shoot.:D
To do list:
Start an exotic game-only themed restaurant, and charge 30 bucks a plate for "alligator," "snake," "frog," "dolphin," whatever, and really just put good old chicken on the plate.

The diners can all feel really good about their intrepitude, and can sit around the dining room, remarking how it "tastes just like chicken" and be absolutely correct. Meanwhile, I'm getting my game for 0.29 per lb.

All birds taste like chicken except the ostrich that tastes like beef.:rotflmao:

Furious squirrels attack stray dog and tear it to pieces

12/02/2005 16:41When the people rushed to rescue the dog it was too late
A pack of furious squirrels attacked a stray dog and tore it to shreds in Russia's Far East (http://newsfromrussia.com/main/2005/11/29/68775.html). The incident occurred in the center of the settlement of Lazo in the Dalnerechensky District. http://english.pravda.ru/img/2005/12/squirrel.jpg
Three locals walking in a park were witnesses of the incident. They say the stray dog was barking at black squirrels jumping from one tree to another. Then the squirrels grouped and suddenly attacked the mongrel.
The witnesses said the squirrels fiercely eviscerated the dog (http://english.pravda.ru/main/18/90/361/16437_dog.html). When the people rushed to rescue the dog it was too late. The fight between the dog and the squirrels lasted for not longer than a minute. When the triumphant squirrels saw the humans approaching, they scattered carrying pieces of the prey in their mouths.
The incident made locals incredibly cautious and people now prefer to pass the park by and do not let children (http://newsfromrussia.com/science/2005/11/26/68533.html) play there. People fear that savage squirrels may attack someone again. One of the locals says that if another accident occured there it would make sense to fix traps in the forest to catch squirrels.
Squirrels have little cones to eat this year. Usually, squirrels lived in the woods only but this year they have come to live right in the center of the settlement.
Mikhail Tiunov from the Far East Department of the Russian Academy of Sciences says he has never heard about squirrel attacking other animals before. "This sounds nonsensical that squirrels attacked a stray dog and tore it to pieces. If this actually happened, the life of squirrels in the forest seems to be really hard this year. It is typical of squirrels to feed on nuts (http://newsfromrussia.com/science/2005/11/26/68553.html), seeds and mushrooms. And it is unlikely that squirrels have become so aggressive as a result of some mutation," Newsru quoted the expert as saying.

Top ten reasons why all squirrels must die

1. Squirrels are the spawn of Satan.
They live mysterious lives in the forests plotting against the rest of the world.

2. Squirrels cause millions dollars of damage to power transformers and lines every year.
They are one of the top causes of power outages and damage to very expensive equipment. They seem to be attracted to transformers and fly into them like Kamikaze pilots.

3. Squirrels have killed innocent citizens by causing car wrecks throughout the years.
How many times have innocent automobile drivers barely avoided running off the road trying to miss (or to hit) a squirrel taunting them in the middle of the road? Some are not so lucky and wreck due to these furry little beasts.

4. Squirrels do millions of dollars worth of home damage.
They are masters of break-ins destroying siding, vents, wires, etc. in the process.

5. Squirrels have no respect for privacy or property rights.
They move into attics and will not leave. They are not invited. An attic is not an oak tree, and they know this. They are too lazy to build their own homes so they try to take over someone else's. They move around in the attic at night scaring young kids and women.

6. Squirrels are notorious thieves, stealing food and property from other animals and people.
They are the most skilled thieves on the planet. They are despised by birds lovers They steal nuts from bird feeders and fruits from trees. When measures are taken to prevent them from getting the prize, they try that much harder.

7. Squirrels assault people's gardens all over the world causing millions of dollars in crop damage.
They get into people's gardens and destroy the vegetables, fruits, and flowers. They rarely even consume them, they just destroy them for the fun of it.

8. Squirrels caused the black death in Europe and currently carry numerous life threatening diseases including rabies and bubonic plague.
It is a historic fact that squirrels, as well as their brothers the rats, were one of the carriers of the black plague in the Middle Ages throughout Europe leading to the horrible end of millions.

9. Squirrels are the most reprehensible animals on the planet and will strike any other animal or human they come in contact with.
There are countless documented accounts of squirrel assaults. They antagonize people and are formidable foes. It is no accident that squirrels are portrayed in film as they are, insane little creatures that do not think anything of taking on people.

10. Squirrels terminate and castrate other squirrels.
Naturalists have discovered an alarming behavior among certain squirrels. A Male squirrel will invade the tree of an enemy squirrel and bite off the nuts of the young in the nest.

METHODIST SQUIRRELS

There were four country churches in a small Arkansas town: The Presbyterian Church, the Baptist Church, the Methodist Church and the Catholic Church. Each church was overrun with pesky squirrels.
One day, the Presbyterian Church called a meeting to decide what to do about the squirrels. After much prayer and consideration they determined that the squirrels were predestined to be there and they shouldn't interfere with God's divine will.
In the Baptist Church the squirrels had taken up habitation in the baptistery. The deacons met and decided to put a large plywood cover on the baptistery and flood it. The squirrels escaped somehow and there were twice as many there the next week.
The Catholic group got together and decided that they were not in a position to harm any of God's creation. So, they humanely trapped the squirrels and set them free a few miles outside of town. Three days later, the squirrels were back.
But -- the Methodist Church came up with the best and most effective solution. They baptized the squirrels and registered them as members of the church. Now they only see them on Christmas and Easter. :D :D

Nice one, IamOne. ^_^

I thought of posting this lil guy... It's taken from the really complex card game - Magic The Gathering. The following is a way to pretty much annihilate your opponent:

Squirrel's Nest - Enchant Land
Every time enchanted land it tapped, you may put a 1/1 squirrel token into play.

Earth Craft - Enchantment
Tap a creature, then untap target land.

So pretty much, you "tap" a land (dun worry about this, lols. but basically, you "tap" something to use it), and you bring a squirrel creature into play (power = 1, defense = 1). Then you tap the squirrel, and untap the land! Repeat as many times as you like. =) So after your opponent's turn, you can have 500 lil creatures that totally overrun him. =D

Haha, I'm afraid to say that only people who know about MTG will love the satisfaction of beating your opponent with 1/1 squirrels. ^_^

Squirrel is quite tasty...

I like to fry the squirrel and then make gravey. The gravey is excellent with grits, bisquicks, eggs. Squirrel takes the place of bacon/ham. Great eating.

Note: Not sure if others eat grits outside the usa but thought I'd relate my .02 worth. :)

Deep in the woods sat a bear and a squirrel at the communal latrine.
"Hmmm" says the bear to the squirrel, "Do you find that $hit tends to stick to your fur?"

"Yes it does" replies the squirrel.

"Great!" says the bear, and wipes his ass with the squirrel. :D

While serving a year in Korea, noticed no stray dogs. Can't remember now if dog tastes like chicken or beef flavor. When drunk, one can eat anything.:D
Nothing like a hot summer drinking warm OB beer and choking down some Yakimondu. It's made with beef now but dog in my day. mmmmmgood.

If you get bored, try a little squirrel fishing.
Just get a rod with some 20lb line and a few good size hooks.
Use nylon line otherwise the little ba$tard$ chew it.
Bait up with some peanuts and cast near them.
Gr8 fun :D

Squirrels go nuts on crackhttp://images.thesun.co.uk/images/trans.gifhttp://images.thesun.co.uk/picture/0,,2005461143,00.jpgSquirrels ... digging up stashes
http://images.thesun.co.uk/images/trans.gifhttp://images.thesun.co.uk/images/trans.gifhttp://images.thesun.co.uk/images/trans.gifhttp://images.thesun.co.uk/images/trans.gif

SQUIRRELS are getting hooked on crack cocaine — hidden by addicts in gardens.
They are digging up the stashes and eating the mega-addictive drug, which comes in small chunks.
Several have been spotted behaving bizarrely in Brixton, South London, since a police blitz against pushers and users.
One resident said: “My neighbour said dealers had used my garden to hide crack.
“Just an hour earlier I’d seen a squirrel digging in the flower-beds.
“It was ill-looking and its eyes looked bloodshot, but it kept on desperately digging. It seems a strange thing to say, but it seemed to know what it was looking for.”
Other residents have seen squirrels become unusually aggressive.
The RSPCA said: “These animals are big foragers. They are attracted by smell and will dig up what they fancy.
“If a squirrel did open a bag of crack and start consuming it there is no doubt it would die pretty quickly.”
Crack squirrels are a recognised problem in America. They are common in parks used by addicts in New York and Washington DC. They have been known to attack park visitors in their search for a fix.
