I have a 133mhz toshiba laptop 220cds 32megs of ram Windows 95.. 4.00.950 B (I just bought it of e-bay)

The Problem is that when u dial it says "The Dial-up registry is corrupted.. you can fix this by restarting your computer (i shut it down restarted it.. many times!) i didnt work

I know what the problem is but cant find a site where "there" solution works or they say pull this "dialfix.reg" of there ISP disk...well my disk does not have this file. I have tried removing dial-up adapter then re-installing it, that didnt work. I really dont feel like re-burning the machine but if nessary I will have to. I managed to dig up my old "upgrade to win 95 disk" but that didnt even work
-------------------------------------
I fixed it but now I have another error.... I posted a topic in the internet board

Thanx

Chuck

You might try uninstalling DialUp Networking altogether then reinstall it.

Start/Settings/Control Panel/Uninstall/Remove PRograms. Select the WIndows tab up top. In here, you will find the DialUp Componenets within the Communications section. Uncheck it, then click apply. Reboot, then go back and recheck it. After you have reinstalled Dial-Up Networking, you may want to install the latest Dialup Networking update from MS for your version of Windows. You can get that here (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q285189). Hope this helps.
