avi. file compression

Hi all,

The video clips I take with my digital camera are in avi. format, however this takes up ca. 30 MB for around 20 seconds of video. The quality isnt so fantastic...

Is there a way of compressing avi. files (free sofware etc) so that it doesnt take up so much disk space?

You could give Virtual Dub a try

Gave it a try and reduced 1 file by half...I will try it again tomorrow with other parameters. Seems to work...
