Hi, I hope I've posted this the right place!
I wanna broadcast some shows from my TV-tuner, but the broadcast option in Windows Media Encoder isn't working. I get this flickered output picture, completely unwatchable. So i'm wondering if there's another way to do it? I'm looking for a program like Windows Media Encoder with the same options.
I'm having a Hauppauge PVR-150.

This is more of a hardware/software question so I'll transfer it to Applications for now. That is a busy forum and I'm sure one of our members or mod's will be able to help you out.

the broadcast option in Windows Media Encoder isn't working. I get this flickered output picture, completely unwatchable. It's working, that's what it's meant to do. In Media Encoder, the Broadcast quality is for broadcasting via the internet if I recall, so it will be fairly low quality.
So i'm wondering if there's another way to do it? I'm looking for a program like Windows Media Encoder with the same options. If you want WMV video files, you'll need to use Windows Media Encoder; just use a higher-quality setting. There are other formats you can convert to aswell, like DivX, XviD, MPEG, etc. You can find encoders for each of those compression formats by searching the net.
I wanna broadcast some shows from my TV-tunerA TV tuner does not broadcast TV, it only receives it. You need a TV studio and an FCC license to broadcast TV over the air. Broadcasting via the internet or other network (aka Streaming) is done with specific software, and not a TV Tuner card - it can also be done in pretty much any video file format, with the right software.
You could probably find the right software if you searched for it (http://www.google.com/search?q=network+video+streaming). Check this (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/expert/bridgman_02march11.mspx) out also.

I know that, but we are a group of friends who are streaming with WME, and when they stream it's a perfect picture, but when i try the output is horrorble (we are streaming shows from our tv-tuners).
I'm just asking if you know another program like WME, I've all ready searched and didn't find anything.

Like I said, if you specifically need WMV format streaming (and need something to convert to WMV), you need WME since it's a proprietry codec, but if you just want to stream, there are other streaming applications/video formats available. VideoLAN (http://www.videolan.org/), for instance, is an Open Source (free) video player that can play a lot of formats (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html) (including WMV) - it can also be used to serve (or receive) streaming video of any of those formats.
