Ok, my external hard drive wasnt working (lacie 160GB) so i called the tech guy and he said it jus probably needed to be re-formatted. But i didnt want to do that yet and have a slimmer chance of getting my data back. So i got another hard drive (lacie 250GB). And that one works.
My 160GB gets recognized by windows, but when i try to access it it does not work, makes my computer run slow as a matter fact. So basically i jus want a program or some way i can read and get the data off my 160GB and jus copy it on my 250GB, and then re-format my drive. Any suggestions??? And do u think if i jus re-formatted the 160Gig i could get ALL my data back?
