Exclamation Problems With Microsoft Picture It!

My wife uses Microsoft Picture It! to develop projects for her classroom. Several weeks ago it developed a problem I have been unable to correct. When she goes to open an existing file or to open a blank form, as soon as she clicks on the file or on the form she wants a box pops on the screen that says that Microsoft Picture It! has been improperly closed. When she clicks OK or hits the X in the upper right hand corner, the program shuts down and flashes off the screen. I have tried, several times to remove and reinstall the program, but, the problem remains. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to correct the problem?

Thanks!

Bill

I checked the program out again this morning to see if it is still failing to cooperate. It is, but, I noticed one additional message it is providing. It is saying "Runtime Error!" before it says "Improper Shutdown".

Great, sometimes Microsoft is useful. 9/10 times a Goooogle for your error with site:support.microsoft.com will get you pretty close to your answer.

In this case my Google was "picture it" "runtime error" site:support.microsoft.com
