Are there any commands that can be used to display the specs of the computer eg. Network card and Hard drive??

Since you want something to run from a command prompt (DOS), Belarc won't be much good to you.

Depending on your Windows install, you may have a little utility already on your system called msd.exe

Should be in C:\Windows or C:\DOS

I'll try that out Smurfy, the older MSD isn't all that accurate when it comes to reporting on the hardware, like CPU type but none the less it's a useful tool. I use it often to check out some parts of installations and settings, and for the real old setups, it's very useful for the memory allocation reports if you can't get a driver to load properly.
