alright heres the problem.

i connected to the internet and tryed to get onto counter-strike, it kept on going on and off so i tryed to repair my internet connection... it said, renewing ip address , then it saidclearing ARP cache , but it gave me an error saying... windows could not finish reparining your internet connection because of the following problem: clearing the ARP cache

so i tryed restarting my computer.. didnt work, i tryed restarting my router.. didnt work (note: ive tryed both about 5 times now), then i tryed a ARP flush through DOS prompt, that didnt work so i emailed my uncle and he said something about ARP posining so i tryed a virus scan and it showed someting, i got rid of it (it was called DSO EXPLIOT) i have gotten rid of it a few timres but it keeps on comin back and my interntet is still screwed

can any1 help? im really desprate

I wouldn't think the DSO exploit is causing this issue. If you scan with older ver of SpyBot the DSO will always come up its a bug, but was fixed in newer ver of SpyBot. To be on the safe side make a post in the Cyber Safety forum here at CTH and they will tell you whats needs to be done for a proper scan of things. Once clear there if you still have a network issue post back here and we can try some things.
