Exclamation Major Problem

Please, please help me! I use DSL to access the Internet. I upgraded my McAfee Firewall and now I can't access it all. I tried disabling, uninstalling, restoring and I still can't get access. I ran cmd and typed in ipconfig and my IP address is that 169 blah blah blah, subnet mask is 255.255.0.0 and default gateway is blank. My dsl provider tried to help, but to no avail and McAfee is going to charge me for support. I tried to get through to customer service with them and held on the line for over an hour. I am using my secondary computer to write this but I need my primary. Can anyone help?
