First off, some background information. For over a year now, I've been downloading anime, shareware, and family photos utilizing the Azereus bittorent client. I have Microsoft Windows XP, and my router is a Linksys Wireless G wrt54g.
That being said, here is the problem.
Just recently (4-5 months ago) I recieved several sets of error messages relating to bittorent, all of it boiling down to a "NAT tracker error". I've been researching this for awhile, and I found out that it can be easily solved by telling my router to allow bittorent. Problem is, my ex-girlfriend (who was the resident computer expert) changed my login info ('cause c'mon, "admin" as a PW? Not too smart!), and neglected to tell me, even after she moved out to the East Coast.
Is there anyway to retrieve the password without having to call the company and listen to them for hours, trying to sort out the directories? Or is it possible to just bypass the router entirely with this program, while still maintaining a respectable level of security.
Sorry if this seems obvious, I never bothered to learn the first thing about computers.
