Hi all,

I have a domian controller configured and also a hardware firewall setup, now whenever internet is down the profile on the local take ages to load and when we unplug the network card the same profile loads in seconds.

No, the profiles are local

blow away and reconfig your DNS setup. (takes about 2 mins).

then ipcconfig /flushdns - ipconfig /registerdns your clients..then log them off and on again.
