I'm confused, what exactly are you trying to do??

Are you having trouble booting up your system? Please explain more details.

Well it can bring it back to factory condition (which you still will have to get all your updates).

Did you read the information at the site I pointed out?

You have 4 Compaq Recovery CD options

The Compaq Recovery CD enables you to restore your system files from a separate space on the hard drive.

The four options on the Recovery CD are listed below.

Restore option

Description:

Emergency Diskette Creating this diskette is important. This diskette can save unique PC setup information in case of an emergency. Store the diskette in a safe place.

User Backup Stores all information and files on the hard drive in a separate protected space on the hard drive.

User Restore Restores the hard drive to the state it was at a particular time.

Factory Restore Restores the computer to its original factory-installed software state.

i know that but i dont see where it says if it will fix my errors and fix my drivers.

The disk is a RESTORE DISK! Take the time and read the directions! It tells you what the disk will do, just read it!

You have 4 choices, that's it!
