cannot log into router

I have a Netgear router which is in factory default state and a new wireless card installed. My problem is I can't get my card to recognize my router to configure my router. Also, I have tried to configure my router via ethernet and that does not work either. Ideas? :confused:

go to the web based editor..it's an IP address, normally 192.168.?.?

go to start | Run | "cmd" | type in "ipconfig" and hit enter

it should tell you your gateway IP address. go to that address and type in the UN and PW supplied in the box w/ the router.
