What type of connection do you have "cable, dsl"? On the computer that won't connect is there a software firewall that could be blocking out traffic from the router? Under Lan properites do you have the network adapter set to "obtain ip auto" and same for dns or are you giving the network adapter a static address?

as of right now I shut down the router and running straight from the tap. I'm thinking there must be a address conflict somewhere or lack there of. O and I forgot to mention when i connected the 3000 straight from c/modem it never connected.
