problems with recovery disk

Good day all,

I have been trying to recover my old computer back to factory settings with the disk that came with the computer. The problem I am having is that the computer keeps saying this disk is not for this computer, anyone who has any ideas of how I can get around this please let me know as it is driving me mad.

Hi There,

no mods of any kind. advent 3501 bought from pc world a long time ago, have since built myself one and working fine this is for my nephew to get him started.
