Can only open Windows Explorer

ive got this little problem...
i cant open my documents foulder or any other in the desktop including the recycler. I can only open windows explorer.
if i open thwe other ones they simpy wont load and i must do ctr+alt+del to close them. it has also gaved an error message: error in MSDXM.OCX (this i dunno if its aplied in other foulders)

no, but i know that wont work cause i dont have any restore points...
also ive had some other problems and used S.R but it didnt worked
