Can't share files any more

I need help! I cannot send files with icq, aim, or pcanywhere. When the destination computer gets a file transfer request and accepts, instead of receiving the file, it just says "listening" and then gives an error message saying "cannot connect".
Can anyone give me a clue as to why this would happen?
