Better than that old handpiainted sign on Pyle bridge, about 50 yards from teh petrol station
"free Wales" to which some wag added "with every 4 gallons"

Gotta come clean - that wasn't exactly the original sign I posted. But, a change of heart, and an expectation of coming back to see it had been replaced by a "tasteless message removed" sign....

Yes, it just wasn't right. Besides, I had trouble fitting Llanddewi Brefi and Snurfen all on one line.

They've had to get a new "thief proof" village sign in Llandewi Brefi - the Lavender mafia keep knicking the real ones.

A simple Welsh jest starts a Taffy Convention. Where's Dohreymefah for a trio? Well, while I have the entire Welsh FAQ staff at hand, could one of you direct me to the Welsh Parliament website? Can't seem to find evidence of one anywhere.

go down the bay, turn left at the waterfront. It's opposite Der Kirk Norvige.
Alternatively, http://www.cymru.gov.uk/index.htm and hit the "English" tab top left.
I once appeared on Welsh TV there - I was pushing a trolley full of new server bits from the loading bay through the debating chamber - they were actually in session for once. dunno who was more surprised, me or the presiding officer. a vague aquainance of mine is an AM (Assembly Member) so he stood up and shouted "I spy a stranger", at which point the cameras swung onto me and the Gimp. Queue blushes and hasty retreat.
The git reminds me of it every time i bump into him.
EDIT - they've actually moved out of that chamber now, into the new one. It's an absolutely wonderful bit of architecture, with a viewing gallery you can walk into off the waterfront, and show your approval to the assembly with colourful and descriptive hand gestures.
