make cd-rw of files

Hi,
I have to download the .exe files for zonealarm and avast AV so as to put them on a few other pc's. Can i just put them on a cd, put that cd into a pc then transfer the files? Will the cd run automatically?...is this the best way to make a cd of files as such....i know this sounds funny.

Not at all funny.
You can just burn the files as a data CD.
You don't need to muck around with an autorun. Just browse to the CD drive on the destination PC and copy files to hard drive or run the exe from the CD to install to the destination PC.
