Size of Website

My son asked me a question that I couldn't answer (which happens quite often).
How would you find the size of a website (disk space in bytes)?

I think my son was thinking of a more technical way to determine the size of a website.
Like a published registry of websites or software, etc.

are you talking about something like a phone book or something only it would say webpage sizes, i don't beleive there is one because it is impractical with webpages being updated all the time.

Hi enat66......I think that is what he had in mind, but as you suggest it is not very practical. I'm not sure why he wants to know such info. Probably a test question.:D :D

So is the question "how many pages/sites are on the web"?

There are all sorts of estimates on this, if you do a google search for "how big is the web" you'll find plenty of info :)
