Links Won't Connect

I am experiencing a problem connecting to other websites when asked to click on a link. When I have a link on a site and click on it, the new page comes up but is blank. The Explorer toolbar at the top and bottom are there but no site.

A similar problem occurred with links not connecting in email to a site but
one of you geniuses fixed for me. Hope the geniuses can with this.

Scroll down to and run the "regsvr32" commands first. If they don't do it, although they usually do, scroll back up and try the File Types Edits.
