Installation Error

I am trying to download a programme but keep getting a box sayig Error code
TTE0007. Any Ideas?

What program are you downloading and from where??

Are you using any special program to download with??

What is the entire EXACT error message??

The programme that I am trying to download is The Racing Post's poker game. They tell you to press the download button and the press open. This I do but then I get a box come on the screen saying Installation Error - error code TTE0007.

Have you tried just downloading and saving the program and then running it?? Sometimes works better than having your system extract and open all at the same time!!

Also, is your WinME up to date - all critical updates, patches, etc??

I downloaded on to a disc, but when I try to open it, I still get the same box. It does say An Error Occured During Installation with the error code. Could something on my computer be stopping it ie Zone Alarm, AVG or Webroot Spysweeper?

Shouldn't be.. You could try disabling them for just the time it takes to download but I have never trusted sites like that and you may be opening up yourself to problems..

Have you ever downloaded and run that particular program before??
