Ulead Dvd Player selective playing
I have Ulead DVD Player 1.1 and sometimes it plays dvds and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it will play a DVD but only after spinning the disk for about 20 minutes. The player isn't that old and it's perfectly legal. I have a DVD from 2003 that plays fine without any waiting, another from 2002 that takes about 10 to 15 minutes of spinning before it loads and a DVD from 2004 that won't play at all. I have Windows XP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and this is becoming extremely frustrating. I'm not very computer literate so please keep it relatively simple?  Thankyou

What DVD drive do you have? How old is it? Is there any similar characteristics of the discs that do play compared to the ones that won't (eg. do Sony/Columbia Tristar movies work, but Disney ones won't)?
