I have a parallel port which will accept and run a printer but will not accept /recognise a zip drive. The device manager shows the yellow triangle warning for this iomega parallel interface. The Iomega software has been installed and when the PC boots up (WindowsME) it reports that no Iomega drives have been found. I have no luck with reinstalling that software or the version from the Iomega website .
I have installed the printer software separately on two occasions and successfully printed from it although on one occasion the communication test for two-way communication with the printer failed although the pinter actually still printed! Any explanations and cures so that I can use my zip drive please? I basically want to install the zip drive and then piggy back the printer on it.
Thanks,
James
