The whole question is vague...what specifically about computers do you want to know? Hardware? Software? PC Construction? Programming? Networking? Web design?
And like smurfy asks, what is "basic stuff" to you?

There's many resources in the internet at people's disposal googling or yahooing is a good practice. I was last year thinking about taking the C++ test to get a certificate that can help you with a career in computers. Haven't had the drive to study unfortunately. You can try some c++ tutorials that can help you learn some computer language free at the link below to see if you are actually interested in the trade.

Not sure if it'll be of any use to you though.

Is your Google finger broken?
I certainly could not even begin to tell you with such vague info as you have stated. You must first start with an interest field. Then more doors will open.
Good luck.
Oops, sorry. "Just post the site". And here I go rambling.:hmm:

Here's a good spot to look at scripting here (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/topics/beginner/firststeps.mspx)
Is this the sort of thing your looking for?
There are also some great little Microsoft beauties hidden in this site (http://www.microsoft.com/learning/default.mspx)
and this one is useful for learning about the mozilla products (firefox, opera etc) (http://www.mozillazine.org/)
