I Have A Older Pentuim Iii 1.3 Gig System Runing On Windows 98 2nd Edition. I Want To Format The Hard Disk And Install Windows Xp. The Problem Is That When I Go Into The Bois And Boot To The Cd Rom And Start The Process Is Say No Disk Found. Why Is That When It Boots Perfectly To Win 98? No Matter What Boot Sequence I Try In The Bois It Windows Xp Does Not Find The Hard Disk. What Do I Do To Correct The Problem So That I Can Install Xp?

Did you know you can install XP over the top of 98? Just run the XP setup from win98.

I would not put Windows XP on a 1.3GB hard drive.
It will run very slow if it runs at all.
Windows XP needs a minimum of 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space.

Howdy.. No, the system is 1.3gHz (gigaHertz).. Gig (or GB preferably) is a measurement of harddrive space, thus the confusion !!! :happy:
