I've been threw every site there is I believe with the words " RECOVERY CD ERROR, CONTACT COMPAQ SUPPORT"..." NO PROGRAMS ON THIS DRIVE.....NO PROGRAMS FOUND ON ANY DEVICE" and lets see " Non-system disk or disk error".."Non-system disk error or disk error install another disk and hit any key"....well I've hit every key here and still nothing...I've installed a new hard drive and don't get anything...even when I install the recovery cd..the screen FlAsHes RED and tells me to Contact Compaq..I've tryed the f1 key but after awhile my finger just starts to blister and I still get nothing...f10 brings up the system settings and the everything is fine there...so it say's...as far as the booting settings go...and the esc say's One time boot...and that's all it does too.......a:/> prompt well i've tryed to change that to boot to c but nothing.....everything that i've tryed to put in there that has been suggested is either a bad command or just goes nowhere.....well I think that's about it.....does anyone here have anymore suggestions....Boy there's alot more to do here besides just replace the hard drive and install the recovery cd to fix this thing......Well Thanks for any help that can be sent this way....... have a nice day........
