Just one page

Hi guys.
I have just bought a domain from a company, but all I am looking to do with it, is to host one really simple webpage.
The cheapest the company (where I bought the domain) could offer me was there basic starter hosting package which is £34 (approx $50) for the year. I know this isn't much, but because I only need a very small amount of space, I wondered if there was an even easier and cheaper way to get around this.
Many thanks for any replies posted.

your isp may provide you with space
then you would just need the domain to point to it (a .co.uk is only a couple of quid)

If it only one page then you could use a free host and simple redirect/point the domain to the free web address.

http://www.free-webhosts.com/no-forced-ads.php

theres a list of free webhosts that do not require ad's

most have bandwith requirements but a trick if you have alot of pictures is to use a free image host which are usually less caring on bandwith

http://www.free-webhosts.com/free-image-hosting.php

and for files use something like the host listed
http://www.gimehost.com/

spreads the bandwith over several hosts so it doesn't add up to alot on a single one.
