If so, please explain whats going on !
Forgot to get F1 magazine for the new rules and I cant make head nor tail.
Scott Speed has just gone onto the track in quali 1 session. (just to keep the yanks interested).

I just saw a Mclarin fall apart and then drive back in!
the rules I understand are they now have V8s and in the race they can change tyres again

I'll only watch it again if it's down to the drivers individual skill and not who has the best car.
Recently it's been like watching a procession....(inserts another red-hot needle into eye as more pleasurable alternative) :D

last year was rubbish, agreed, first season in years where I havent watched every qual and race.
This year, could be a good shakeup. Lets see. Quali so far has been cracking, and we're only 17 minutes in - more action than all last season's qualis put together.
(Son just walked in, saw some arabic script on a hoarding and said "is this the Iraq GP dad?" - no, thats the one where challengers and scorpions race it out).

So Dohray, have you been watching the A1 series then?

If you want to keep up with "who's making the cut" , as the onscreen timing on ITV is wubbish, it's here (http://www.formula1.com/race/livetiming/751.html)
I can't get A1 on the box - refuse to subscribe to SkyTV, but it's been a great season with some fantastic racing. Follow the racedays online.

Hi smurfy,
No, haven't been watching the A1 series, what is it? If it's like the days of Hunt, Fittipaldi, Senna and Prost, I'll give it a whirl.

F1 without the obscene budgets - identical car specs V8s (only mechanical tuning and set-up to differentiate, not actual machinery).
A little disappointed that drivers can be changed for each round though so it eliminated the "who is the best driver" contest. More like a world cup team motorsport event.
UK currently 3rd behind France. NZL 6th after being Kamikaze'd by Japan last round.

Off-Topic:
ITV wanted Jeff Stelling to be their new footy guy, but he's got a cushy job at Sky so he's not going anywhere. So they moved Rosenthal to footy and got Rider in as the F1 man. Inverdale is touted to be the new Grandstand guy, if there is any sport for him to cover :D
An another point, I saw Mansell on TopGear and apparently there is going to be a Masters F1 series with some of the old greats.

I think there have been two masters already, and the brummy moustache has won both.
