aFTER I TURN THE COMPUTER ON AND PUT IN WINDOWS PASSWORD IT GOES TO THE DESKTOP WALLPAPER SCREEN AND NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS. NO ICONS OR TASKBAR APPEAR. WHAT CAN I DO TO SOLVE THIS PROBELM? I HAVE WINDOWS ME, ALL I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IS RESTART OMPUTER USING CTRL+ALT+DELETE..THANKS

hi cedar134 welcome to the community my name is bill there is to things you can do you can put in a startup disk or bootdisk in and at put this in a:> scandisk/all and it will help you fix it or you can push f8 to go in safe mode and then go to start, programs,accessories,system tools and then system restore that should take care of your problem.
