My computer is possessed!

So im asleep right
I wake up because its too cold in my room.
Ten seconds later my computer turns on (I have not left my bed!)
I think thats kinda creepy and go down and turn it off
So I turn it off and ten seconds later It turns back on!!
I end up pulling out the power cord and that did it

The next day Im writing a post here about how my compy is screwed up..
My screen without warning turns off and I cant turn it on again
end up rebooting =(.

And other little things like...

When I was writing this message I left it for a bit and came back to read,
"cant turn it on again end up rebooting =I"

WHERE DID THE =I COME FROM!!!

thats what you get for not forwarding on all those chain emails. You were warned :rotflmao:

seriously, strongly suspect something astray with your power settings. Have a good look around, especially at any WOL (wake on lan) settings. It's possible your pc is getting a poll from your modem/router and bouncing into life. Not unusual.

As for the screen - check all connections are solidly attached. Perhaps it had become overheated and the thermal cut out kicked in. Possible you'll never see it do that again.

As for the extra chars - you may have typed ahead without realising, or perhaps your cat walked across the keyboard (if you've got one).
