Cool, another Distributed Computing project - is anyone still running SETI?
May just sign up for this one - I have a win2k server that's idle 99% of the time - they even have a Linux version - good on 'em!
bugger - they want 1.6Ghz CPU - :(

seems like shooting yourself in the foot.
Lets see, we want to do a survey to see if globl warming is true,
so we'll get a few hundred thousand pc's to stay on over night burning all that extra fossil fuel,
then see the results.
It's like fighting for peace or doing that other one for virginity :p

The survey's probably funded by the power companies. :)
